“The plant in Balmaseda will be the most modern shot blasting plant in the world”
Winoa, the world leader in steel abrasives production, has invested 20 million euros in a new factory in Spain. This is the group’s eleventh factory.
In an interview in Le Dauphiné, Pierre Escolier, CEO of Winoa, explains that “it will be the most modern shot blasting plant in the world, with a fully optimised environmental footprint.”
The plant in Balmaseda will use the most modern production techniques to reduce its environmental footprint: double purification system to guarantee a clean environment inside and outside the plant, heat recovery equipment, intelligent sensors, a water treatment plant with the highest efficiency standards.
