Case Study: Industrial Expansion and Offices in Bizkaia
A clear example of this commitment is one of our recently completed projects in the province of Bizkaia: the construction of 2 new industrial warehouses attached to the existing facilities of a production plant, along with an independent office building.
This project presented two critical challenges in engineering and management:
1. Zero Production Downtime
The design required creating a connection passage between the new and old structures with a 20-meter span, capable of supporting two 32 and 80-ton overhead cranes. We successfully executed and integrated this large structural span completely safely and without halting the factory’s production activity for a single day.
2. Down-to-the-Millimeter Planning for the Offices
The construction of the new administrative building was coordinated under an exhaustive schedule control. This allowed the client to carry out the technical and staff relocation from the old offices to the current ones in a clean, orderly manner, and exactly on the scheduled date.
