Project design and construction management of the new Nave 0 and office building for Euskal Forging, S.A. in Sestao (Bizkaia)

Euskal Forging, S.A. is a company specializing in the manufacture of seamless metal rings, with its headquarters located in Irura, Gipuzkoa. It operates three production plants across the Basque Country: one in Irura alongside the headquarters, and two others in Bizkaia, specifically in Mungia and Sestao.

In 2022, to adapt to industry developments, Euskal Forging S.A. completed the construction of Nave 6, featuring an increased hook height to handle large-diameter rings. This facility was designed and managed by Maratek.

Currently, due to the expansion of its production capacity and following the implementation of a special reurbanization plan in the Sestao Bai Industrial Park, the company requires an increase in production area through the construction of two new industrial warehouses, a new office building, and an external storage zone designed for heavy machinery traffic and crane operation.

For this reason, the Maratek team is preparing the Activity Project, Execution Project, and will carry out procurement management, procedures, and administrative tasks. Additionally, Maratek will provide Construction Management, Execution Direction, and Safety and Health Coordination during the project’s implementation.
