Construction management for the renovation of the boiler room at the Ertzaintza headquarters in Oiartzun incorporating renewable energies

In June, Maratek will begin construction management for the renovation of the boiler room at the Ertzaintza Headquarters in Oiartzun (Gipuzkoa) on behalf of the Department of Security of the Basque Government.

The objective of this renovation is to improve the building’s energy efficiency and to implement renewable thermal generation systems in compliance with Law 4/2019, dated February 21, on energy sustainability in the Basque Autonomous Community.

The project includes the construction of a semi-buried silo for pellet storage and the replacement of existing gas boilers with biomass boilers (pellets), supported by wall-mounted condensing boilers fueled by natural gas.
