Construction of Industrial Facility and External Storage Area for Euskal Forging – Sestao

Activity and Execution Project, Procurement Management, and Site Supervision for the Construction of a New Industrial Warehouse and Outdoor Storage Area.

Construction of the new Warehouse 6 and development of the outdoor storage area 7 at the Euskal Forging S.A. plant in Sestao (Bizkaia – Spain).

Maratek was responsible for drafting the Activity Permit Project, the Execution Project, managing procurement, and supervising the construction process.

Initially, the Sestao facility included 4,000 m² dedicated to the cutting area and 17,500 m² for the rolling and machining areas. Additionally, it featured 3,500 m² of uncovered outdoor space for various storage operations. The plant is equipped for rolling and machining rings of up to 10,000 mm in outer diameter and 80,000 kg in weight.

The purpose of this new project is to expand the company’s facilities in the Altos Hornos industrial area, enabling Euskal Forging to meet increasing demand from its target markets..
